Workshop FAQs


What is the duration of a workshop?

We meet at a prearranged meeting point for 10am, with a briefing of the day until 10:30. We have a 30 minute break for lunch at approximately 1pm and we finish at 4pm. All in all the workshop runs for approximately 6 hours.

Do I need to be an experienced photographer to join?

Photographers of all experience levels are welcome.

Do I need to bring a professional camera?

Craig encourages every kind of device, from iPhones to Analog, digital DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Each has the potential to take a great image.

Can I purchase a workshop as a gift?

Yes, but please contact Craig to notify the name of the recipient.

Are workshops postponed for bad weather?

No. Craig plans two routes per workshop. One predominantly outdoors for good weather, another mainly indoors in the event of rain.

I am under 18 years old. Can I book a place on Craig’s workshops?

You may, but need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the day that will also need to book a place.

Can I bring a friend along?

Only paying participants are allowed to attend (unless under the age of 18 with an accompanying adult)

How physically demanding are Craig’s workshops?

We tend to walk around 5-8 miles over the course of the day. As the workshops are based in cities this isn't overly taxing.

Are lunches included on the workshops?

Coffee is provided at the beginning of the day upon meeting Craig, and a sandwich or similar of your choice will be provide at lunch.
